Immigration is the process of permanently relocating to a foreign country with the intent to live there.
To become a permanent resident of Canada, an applicant must go through one of the following categories
The Express Entry system was developed to keep track of skilled immigration applicants and to approve individuals who have the best chance of settling in Canada and contributing to its economy.
The Federal Skilled Worker Program is offered to qualified foreigners from all around the world who are Express Entry eligible and meet specific conditions such as suitable education, job experience, age, and English or French language ability.
The Federal Skilled Trades Program allows skilled employees who have completed a skilled trade certification to become permanent citizens of Canada. The Express Entry system likewise controls it. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducts lotteries for candidates for the Federal Skilled Trades Program.
Those who have worked in Canada and desire to live permanently in the country with their families can apply for permanent residency through the Canadian Experience Class.
It offers two types of skilled worker immigration programs at the Federal and Provincial levels, which are jointly managed by Ottawa and the other ten provinces.
There are several different pilot immigration programs to choose from. In order to attract additional skilled workers to smaller towns, the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot was created.
You can sponsor certain family members to become Canadian permanent residents if you are a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada and are over 18 years old. Your relative will be able to live, study, and work in Canada after that.
Every year, Canada grants permanent residence to 30,000–40,000 refugees through a comprehensive refugee protection procedure comprised of two primary components: the Refugee and Humanitarian Resettlement Program conducted outside of Canada and the In-Canada Refugee Protection Process.
